Class Level Descriptions:
 | Beginning Classes: Starting from scratch, no
experience required. |
 | Intermediate Classes: Some experience and knowledge
of dance terminology. |
 | Advanced Classes: High Skill Level expanding step
knowledge and repertoire. |
Dance Types Offered:
 | Clogging: Southern Appalachian Dance styles that
consist of rhythmic sounds produced by the feet. |
 | Irish: Traditional step dance made popular in the
show “Riverdance.” |
 | Jazz/Hip Hop: A mixture of modern dance movements
and Pop styles. |
 | Percussive Dance: A medley of dance styles
including: Rhythm Tap, South African Gumboot, Collegiate
Stepping, and Hambone/Body Percussion. |
 | Ballet: A basic overview of Ballet techniques and
body movements. |
 | Step Dance: A medley of dance styles including: Cape
Breton, French Canadian, and English Waltz Clog. |
 | Traditional Figures: A mixture of traditional Irish
Ceili/Set and Appalachian figures and partner turns. |
